Huge congratulations to Paul, Julie and their hardworking team at The Point restaurant for gaining entry into the prestigious Hall of Fame for the Newcastle/Hunter Valley Entertainment Book.

Hall of Fame winners have gained three gold awards previously and represent the best in their field.

The Point has been acknowledged as the areas best fine dining restaurant for many years and it's great to see them again recognised for all their hard work in ensuring their customers have a wonderful dining experience.

No matter how far we venture or sail on “Eliza” our Halvorsen 42 Coastal Cruiser, it is always good to get back to our Berth at Soldiers Point Marina, where the facilities are second to none and, it is truly a home-away-from-home. We have a choice of two top Restaurants who are always welcoming, the Marina Centre is always on-hand to help with any problems with a hull or engine room and, we now have our very own grocery Boat Shed. The way in which the Marina telephone is answered; “How can I help you?” simply sums up the attitude of ALL THE STAFF.
