New Hire Boat Business
The staff and management of Soldiers Point Marina are very excited to welcome Glenn and Anne Forrest and their new business Soldiers Point Boat Hire (SPBH) to the marina.
SPBH offers first class boats for hire at very reasonable prices. Glen and Anne are very experienced in the marine industry, and also own Sunshine Pontoons NSW supplying customers with unbeatable value through their Pontoon & Party Boats!
"There was a natural progression from marine supplier to hire boat operator and we chose Soldiers Point Marina as the location for our new business as we see it as a world class facility. We have water craft to suit just about every style of boating imaginable" said Glenn.
Glenn and Anne have commenced their fleet with the following:
Kayaks...human power!!! These are for the fun at heart, sit on style making them safe and easy to operate and navigate!
4.5 Drifter, 15hp, tiller steer with seating for 6x passengers. For families or couples wanting to do a spot of fishing. No license required.

5.3 Warrior, 115hp, this boat is a real family orientated boat and has been built as a bow rider with seating in the cockpit and in the front of the boat forward of the screen, in total there is seating for 6x passengers. License required

19ft "Elete" Pontoon Boat, 30hp (four stroke) luxurious lounge seating for 8x passengers, sound system with ample speakers, large bimini top for shade, comfort and style never before available on the bay! This boat also has a boarding ladder on the front deck for the kids after they have had their swim. No license required.

The hire boats at Soldiers Point Boat Hire are the most modern available in the area bar none.
"We have utilized our position as local distributors of 'Polycraft Boats' along with our supply and sales of 'Sunshine Pontoon Boats' to adapt our hire fleet with the very best in hire boats in the Port Stephens Region" said Glenn.
One fantastic and most important feature of all the hire boats is the inclusion of a GPS system which puts you under the watchful eye of management for the duration of your hire period. The inclusion of GPS to our fleet displays Glen and Anne's focus on customer safety.
Soldiers Point Boat Hire will have their own custom built floating office located on the marina up and running by mid February. Should you forget any of your day's needs, SPBH will have their very own “Shoppe” stocking items such as sunscreen and fishing gear, specialty condiments, packaged snacks, ice, bait, cold drinks, daily newspapers, bread, milk, toiletries and the always popular ice creams to tempt the taste buds.
Towable inflatable's (Warrior hires only) and hand held marine radios will be available for hire at The "Shoppe".
This is an excellent service and I'm sure will be used by all our marina customers.
